Welcome to 2nd grade at Princeville Elementary! My name is Hannah Rountree and this is my fifth year teaching. I graduated from East Carolina University in December of 2011. Go Pirates!! I was born in Edgecombe County and moved away for college and now I am glad to be back teaching in my home county. I still live in Greenville with my husband Cody and our sweet puppy Riley. We are huge football fans and love going to ECU and NC State games. (My husband is the State fan, not me:)) We love the outdoors and being outside whenever we can. Also, we love playing with our nephew Braxton, who turned 2 in March.

Welcome the 2nd grade with Mrs. Rountree. We are in for an exciting year. We have so many important things to learn. This year we will be discovering how weather works, properties of matters, and life cycles in Science. In Social Studies we will be learning about famous Americans, important events in history, diverse cultural and their food, music, and art, and taking journeys with maps. Also, we will be working on increasing our reading and writing skills through many projects. I am looking forward to an exciting year.
