Princeville Uniforms and Supplies 2022-2023

Students will continue to wear uniforms during the 22-23 school year. Uniforms are the only materials your child will need for the upcoming school year. We will provide all other materials and supplies. If your child is new, please also have a book bag for your student.

Kindergarten will have Popsicles on the Playground on Wednesday, August 24th.

We will have Open House Thursday, August 25th from 10am to 7pm

The first day for students will be Monday, August 29.

Freedom Hill's Youth Media Camp

Freedom Hill's Youth Media Camp is a 4-week documentary production program connecting NC students, age 14-19 years old, to Princeville's Black history. Students will conduct interviews, learn oral history skills, explore archives and learn the basics of documentary filmmaking. The program will culminate in a short participatory documentary about Princeville’s inaugural Homecoming Celebration.

Students will receive a stipend ranging from $500-750 for their participation in the camp.

National Teacher Appreciation Day, also known as National Teacher Day, recognizes dedicated educators across the country. As part of Teacher Appreciation Week, the celebration takes place on the Tuesday of the first full week in May each year.

The National Education Association describes National Teacher Day “as a day for honoring teachers and recognizing the lasting contributions they make to our lives.”

National Administrative Professionals’ Day, also known as Secretaries Day or Admin Day, recognizes the professionals who keep an office running smoothly every day. Celebrate these professionals on the Wednesday of the last full week in April of each year. The day recognizes the work of secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists, and other administrative support professionals. Central to any business, these professionals keep an office organized and efficient.
